What this service is

A free directory of trade fairs and an application for capturing contacts at them. The directory is free to browse for everyone. The app is used with a Fair Pass bought in Google Play; teams and the AI included in the package are described below.

Accuracy of fair information

We take care with dates and details, but fairs change them. Always confirm on the organizer's official website before you travel.

Fair profiles

After confirming their identity, organisers can send us and update the official details about their fair. This gives them no account and no control over the page. A featured presentation is a separate service, agreed case by case.

Responsible use

Use the contacts you collect lawfully and respect the wishes of people who ask not to be contacted again.

Teams and Enterprise

A team is bought by one person, the manager, as an Enterprise Fair Pass. Only the manager pays; members pay nothing. Everyone in a paid team has the AI features at no extra charge (see “AI features included in the package” below).

A team is valid for 30 days from purchase and covers up to 2 fairs. The manager chooses the fairs and can type in a fair that is not in our directory; all members use the same set of fairs. A team of 5 seats (the manager and 4 members) has one replacement, and a team of 20 seats has three. The price is the one shown in Google Play before you buy.

If the team needs more people than the package includes (a 6th member in a team of 5, a 21st in a team of 20), the manager can buy an extra seat for each additional member. The price per member and the terms are shown in Google Play before you buy and are the ones that count; an extra seat, like every seat, is not tied to one person.

A seat is not tied to one person: when a member leaves the team the seat is freed and the manager can invite someone else, at most as many times as replacements are included in the package. Members join with an invitation (a code or QR code) that the manager shares; an invitation is valid for a limited time and a limited number of uses, so share it only with people you want in the team. Someone who already has a personal Fair Pass can join a team: the rights add up and do not cancel each other.

The team’s contacts are stored encrypted on our server and shared with a team key that the manager hands out in an invitation. All members see the team’s contacts and can edit them; a member deletes their own, and the manager deletes all. The manager is responsible for sharing the invitation (the QR code with the key) only with people who may use the app on the company’s behalf, and for putting into the team only contacts the company may process. The manager’s company is the controller of the team’s contacts, and Tehnokan stores them encrypted on its instructions and cannot read them. Whoever leaves the team loses access to the records on the server, and what has already been exported or copied outside the app is not under our control.

A team ends when the 30 days run out, or earlier if the purchase is refunded or the licence is revoked for misuse. Then all members’ right to new contacts ends, while contacts already captured stay on the phones and can still be read and exported. We delete the team’s records on the server 90 days after the team ends (see the privacy policy).

Sync and the key. The key that encrypts your records is kept in your Google account, so you are responsible for that account. If you lose access to your Google account, delete the app’s hidden space in Drive, or your Google Workspace administrator turns Drive off, the records on the server stay unreadable and we cannot open or restore them. You can then get your data back only with the recovery phrase, if you made one (it is optional, and we recommend it), or from a manual backup (ZIP). Keep the phrase somewhere safe: we cannot recover it. Sync is a convenience and not your only copy, and we do not guarantee that the data will always be available.

AI features included in the package

The AI features are not a separate product: they are included in the Personal Fair Pass, and in the Enterprise Fair Pass for every member of the team, for as long as the pass or the team is valid. There is no separate price and no separate purchase. They can be used only with an active Fair Pass or a seat in a team.

AI helps to read a business card into fields, to draft a follow-up e-mail and to summarise notes. These are suggestions, not facts: we do not guarantee that they are correct, complete or suitable for your purpose. You check the names, numbers and addresses and you are responsible for what you save and send. The result is always shown and you can edit it before saving or sending; nothing is sent by itself.

The AI features have daily usage limits; when they are reached the feature pauses until the next day. We may suspend them temporarily for maintenance, misuse, or if our supplier stops providing the service. Do not use them for content that breaks the law or the prohibited-use rules that Google imposes. They are meant for people aged 18 or over.

The AI features are optional and you turn them off whenever you want; how data is processed is described in the app privacy policy. Refunds follow the rules of Google Play.
