Questions about packages, pricing and your data
How do I buy a package?
Install Fair Assistant from Google Play, sign in and buy the package inside the app. You pay through Google Play, once, with no subscription; the price Google Play shows before you confirm is the one that counts. Companies can also order a team package by invoice.
What does “2 fairs” mean?
Personal and Enterprise Fair Pass are valid for 30 days and cover two fairs. A fair is counted when you save the first contact for it, and the contacts from both fairs stay available to you for good. If your plans change, you can swap a fair for another one; the number of fairs stays the same. Buying the pass again while it is still valid adds 30 days and two more fairs.
How do teams and extra seats work?
Enterprise Fair Pass is for a team of 5 (the manager included) or 20. The manager buys the pass in the app and invites the members, and the whole team shares the 30 days and the two fairs. If the team grows beyond 5 or 20 members, the manager can add an extra seat per member; it lasts until the end of the current team period, and its price is shown in the app.
Is AI included?
Yes. AI business card reading, email drafts and notes summaries are included in Personal and Enterprise at no extra charge, for every member of the team. The free trial lets you try AI card reading on the first 5 cards. You switch AI on in the app yourself and can switch it off at any time.
Can I get a refund?
Packages are bought through Google Play, so a refund is requested from Google Play, under its refund policy. After a refund the pass ends: you can no longer add new contacts, but the contacts you already saved stay readable.
Do I need an account?
Browsing the fair directory on this website needs no account. In the app you sign in with your Google account: that starts the 14-day free trial, and it is needed to buy a package or to join a team. The free trial can be used once per Google account and phone.
Where are my contacts stored?
On your phone. If you turn sync on (on the screen after sign-in, where the app suggests it, or later in settings; you can turn it off at any time), an encrypted copy is also on our server in the European Union. The key to open it is in the app’s hidden space in your Google Drive. Photos of cards stay on the phone only.
What if I lose my phone?
Install the app on a new phone and sign in with the same Google account. The app takes the key from Drive, downloads the records and brings back your contacts and notes. If you have no access to that Google account, you can restore only with the recovery phrase, if you made one, or from a manual backup (ZIP). Photos of cards are not restored for now.
Can Tehnokan see my contacts?
No. Our server stores only encrypted records without the key (it keeps only a fingerprint of the key and, if you create one, the key locked with your recovery phrase) and sees only your account ID, the number and size of records and when they changed. The exception is AI actions you start yourself: then the content passes through the server to Google and we do not keep it. You can delete the records from the server whenever you want.
