Rovinj in Croatia hosts Weekend Media Festival, a conference-style festival for the media, communications, technology and business community. It is organised by Pepermint d.o.o., and according to the organiser it is the largest regional communications festival. The programme consists of talks, panels and networking, with speakers ranging from regional company executives to international names from media and technology firms. Several themed festivals run in parallel with the main one, on human resources, technology, finance and education, and also on health, energy and investment. The former tobacco factory complex is the main venue, and events also take place in a hotel ballroom and across the town.
