About the fair
InnoTrans 2026 took place September 22 – 25, 2026 — Messe Berlin, Berlin, Germany.
Messe Berlin organises InnoTrans, an international trade fair for transport technology held in Berlin on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, and describes it as the leading fair of its kind. It takes place every two years and is open to trade visitors only. The fair has five segments: railway technology, railway infrastructure, public transport, interiors and tunnel construction. A distinctive feature is the outdoor and track display area, where vehicles from tank wagons to high speed trains stand on a long stretch of track, along with a bus display and a demonstration course. The InnoTrans Convention, a high level supporting programme, accompanies the fair. Recent editions have added topics such as artificial intelligence through an AI Mobility Lab.
