About the fair
IBC 2027 – International Broadcasting Convention takes place in September 2027 — RAI Amsterdam, Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The RAI Amsterdam hosts IBC, the International Broadcasting Convention, an annual event for the media, entertainment and technology industry. It combines an exhibition in the show halls with a conference programme. Six industry organisations own it: IAMT, IEEE BTS, IET, the Royal Television Society, SCTE and SMPTE. Topics run from content creation and distribution to streaming, live sport, artificial intelligence, security and content provenance. Beyond the main conference and exhibition, the show includes the Future Tech area for start-ups and emerging technologies, the IBC Accelerator Media Innovation Programme, technical papers, a talent programme and the Innovation Awards. IBC is meant for professionals from broadcasters, streaming services, technology companies and other parts of the industry.
