About the fair
Electra Mining Africa is southern Africa's biggest mining and industrial trade show and ranks among the world's three largest mining exhibitions, held biennially since 1972. It brings together over 1,000 exhibitors and close to 40,000 visitors from mining, manufacturing, electrical engineering, automation, power and transport. The exhibition covers machinery, equipment, spare parts and complete technology systems, with live working-machinery demonstrations. The supporting programme includes the SAIMM seminar theatre and innovation awards run with SACEEC. For mining and energy procurement it is the key regional event.
